"COME AND SING" STAINER'S CRUCIFIXION
A chance to hear (or sing!) this fine and popular work by John Stainer, directed by Jon Payne (Director of Music at St Thomas' Church, and RSCM Regional Music Adviser). Singers are asked to bring music copies with them and be in place for a rehearsal at 4.30pm. All are welcome to hear the performance at 6.30pm

Admission free (for audience); a small charge of £3 per singer is to cover the cost of organising this event, and refreshments. Please book online to reserve your place in the choir.

Music for Lent and Passiontide
Well-known recitalist, and former Director of Music at St Thomas' Church, Andrew Fletcher, gives a recital of atmospheric music for Holy Saturday.

EVENING CONCERT: NATIONAL FLUTE ORCHESTRA
The National Flute Orchestra, formed in 2008 by Kenneth Bell and Margaret Lowe, is formed from fine players from all over the UK. The group meets three or four times a year to develop its repertoire of music in a symphonic style. This is the group's second visit to St Thomas' Church.

Danielle Saxon Reeves and Mark Willetts have forty-five years of playing experience between them, and have performed explore the early Romantic guitar repertoire with a contemporary yet historically informed approach. A superb chance to hear their playing in the splendid setting of our Georgian Grade I listed building.

EVENING CONCERT: TEDESCA STRING QUARTET
Nic Fallowfield, Chris Windass, Richard Muncey, and Jenny Curtis are four highly experienced and accomplished musicians who, together, make up the Tedesca String Quartet. As the region's very own "local" quartet, they make their second visit to St Thomas' Church for an evening of music that is sure to entertain.
